I’m very proud of my students, Joseph Turner and Will McDonald who both won their divisions at the Arizona State Fiddle Championships last weekend. Joseph also won the twin fiddle division and is the overall Grand State Champion. Way to go, guys!

Festival en el Barrio
Tucson friends, tomorrow (3/24) is the Calexico fundraiser for KXCI, my favorite public radio station and a great event featuring mostly local musicians. I’ll be helping out the amazing band, Sweet Ghosts at the museum stage at 1:35PM so if you’re there come early and see us, you won’t be disappointed I promise…

Oso at Solar Culture 10/18
Our Santa Barbara gypsy prog-rock band Oso is getting back together with ALL of the original members for a pre-wedding show at Solar Culture in Tucson on Ocotber 18th. I am thrilled to have Tim Beutler back from Berlin to play drums and we’ll be doing many of our original songs.
